How to Select a Member type (Begin Member
Registration at the Bottom of this Page)
We have two member types: Regular and Associate members. Here is
how each is defined:
-
Regular
Member or Qualified Business Owners is an independent
business owner, senior partner, board member or senior decision maker.
Regular Members can also be law and/or accounting professionals who
regularly work with the business community. Regular Members are
typically not one person franchises, independent contractors (real
estate salespeople, for example) and home based businesses.
Must hold or have recently held and sustained a position of: CxO Senior
or Managing Partner Principal Director/Board Member in which Company
revenue exceeded $200K annually and applicant provided significant and
verifiable contribution to company's growth or market position and must
attend a minimum of two events per year to remain active.
-
Associate
Member or Non Qualified Attendees are senior members of
their firms, but do not have an ownership interest in the firm or the
ownership interest is less than 20%. Those not meeting the requirements
of the Regular Membership may continue to attend Fridays at Four events
if they are reviewed and approved by NABOE. We would like to see 10+
years of experience in your current business or have a track record of
starting and building new businesses.
Restricted Firms
The National Association of Business Owners and
Entrepreneurs is about supporting the independent business owner community.
In doing so, we generally restrict non-business owners from attending except
in the case of our Associate Members. Our registration restriction policy is
contained below:
-
The marketplace is full of competing networking
firms. We wish them all well and much success. However, our policy is
not to allow principals of competing networking firms to attend our
events.
-
No network marketing distribution system firms
such as Amway, Arbonne International, Basic Research, BioPerformance,
Cobra Group (Marketing) , Herbalife, Mary Kay, etc. For additional
